You always set your account as if you were in Canada and enable pop. Just 
the correct time zone.

For reason we keep errors with the webmail extension is that Yahoo keeps 
changing things for the webmail service. 

Alan for some of us our corporate firewalls are blocking the pop3s ports.

First you must setup the webmail and yahoo extensions.
Then when setting up the accounts use manual mode,

Server = localhost //note all small letters and sometimes 127.0.0.1 works 
instead
port 110 unless using an operating systems block below 1025
connection security = None
Password = password transmitted insecurely.

The security and password setting are handled the webmail extension

Note: if using att.com; btinternet.com; or other Yahoo webmail supported 
then they need to be added the yahoo extension domain list.;
