Is this because Yahoo close their Yahoo Classic service ?
Almost certainly. I no longer use the extension for Yahoo myself, UK residents can now use POP or IMAP for Yahoo mail. I do recall however that the extension used to only work with Yahoo Classic. There was no version of the extension that worked with the New Yahoo Mail. I don't know whether or not this is still true, but any change that Yahoo makes to the mail home page (even apparently trivial ones!) has the potential to break the extension. As so many people have found the extension broken at the same time, the obvious conclusion is that this is due to something that Yahoo has done. The web mail author will be aware of this and working on a fix. Sometimes when Yahoo doesn't roll out these changes all at one time, the author has to wait until an account that he has access to is updated before he can start work on the fix.
