#5703: [PATCH] Replace preg_match usage in Folder::read
-------------------------------+--------------------------------------------
    Reporter:  davidpersson    |          Type:  Optimization
      Status:  new             |      Priority:  Medium
   Milestone: 1.2.x.x | Component: Core Libs
     Version:  RC3             |      Severity:  Normal
    Keywords:  folder, speed   |   Php_version:  n/a
Cake_version:  1.2.0.7692 RC3  |
-------------------------------+--------------------------------------------
 It's possible to replace the former logic utilizing preg_match in
 Folder::read by a simpler and much faster one. This doesn't break any
 existing test cases but will slightly break backwards compatibility if {{{
 $exceptions }}} is false (the default) and the item name contains more
 then two dots.
