Sorry, but this is ill-conceived at best -- {{{preg_match}}} is referenced
over 150 times within the CakePHP core, and nothing from your graph
indicates that any significant number of those 1956 calls is from
inflection. Also, if you actually study the chart, you'll note that the
average total cost of a single call to {{{Cache::read()}}} is greater than
the entire cost of all 1956 calls to {{{preg_match}}}.
