#5727: create(); save(data) does not work on our production server
---------------------------------------+------------------------------------
Reporter: irina | Type: Bug
Status: new | Priority: Low
Milestone: 1.2.x.x | Component: Model
Version: RC2 | Severity: Normal
Keywords: inconsistent behaviour | Php_version: PHP 5
Cake_version: 1.2.0.7296 RC2 |
---------------------------------------+------------------------------------
The following code does not work on our production server, but works on
our development environments (Windows, Ubuntu):
{{{
$this->Info->create();
if ($this->Info->save($this->data)) {
// the model validates so it should execute this branch, but it doesn't
}
}}}
Instead, this code works on all environments:
{{{
$this->Info->set($this->data);
if ($this->Info->save()) {
// it executes this branch
}
}}}
The configuration of the faulty production environment is:
CentOS release 5 - kernel 2.6.18-53.1.6
PHP 5.2.5 built from source with the following packages only: curl, gd,
freetype, mcrypt, openssl
Zend Optimizer v3.2.0
