 Steps to reproduce:

 First, setup a Basic HTTP Authentication as
 http://book.cakephp.org/view/473/Basic-HTTP-Authentication

 Then try to acces a protected action with wrong username/password, you
 will get a 401 header but you will not be asked for the login credentials
 anymore.
