Checking for/converting to arrays can be done even easier and faster using
a simple 'cast'. This will simply -convert- the value to an array if it's
not allready and otherwise leave it as-is. Furthermore, this method
removes an extra 'if' statement and is better readable;

$this->cc = (array) $this->cc;
}

and
{{{
if(!empty($this->bcc) && $this->delivery != 'smtp'){
$this->bcc = (array) $this->bcc;
}
}}}
Maybe I'll create an extra 'enhancement' ticket for this.
