#5807: cache::clear(false, 'default') does not delete cached files

When running cache::clear(false, 'default'); the default config cached
files are not deleted from the CACHE . 'views' directory ('views' is
default I guess).
Also a problem to delete the persistent files from the cache.
Attached a shell function used for cache clearing, but does not work for
the above mentionned.
Maybe my mistake though...
