---------------------------+------------------------------------------------
Reporter: dho | Type: Documentation
Status: new | Priority: Medium
Milestone: 1.2.x.x | Component: Schema
Version: RC3 | Severity: Normal
Keywords: | Php_version: n/a
Cake_version: 1.2.0.7903 |
---------------------------+------------------------------------------------
The doc block for CakeSchema::load():
{{{
/**
* Reads database and creates schema tables
*
* @param array $options schema object properties
* @return array Set of name and tables
* @access public
*/
}}}
And the doc block for CakeSchema::read():
{{{
/**
* Reads database and creates schema tables
*
* @param array $options schema object properties
* 'connection' - the db connection to use
* 'name' - name of the schema
* 'models' - a list of models to use, or false to ignore
models
* @return array Array indexed by name and tables
* @access public
*/
}}}
From those doc blocks it is not clear what's the difference between the
two methods.
