#5867: Postgres schema execution incorrectly handles primary key --------------------------------------------+------------------------------- Reporter: chrisbdaemon | Type: Bug Status: new | Priority: Medium Milestone: 1.2.x.x | Component: PostgreSQL Version: RC3 | Severity: Normal Keywords: postgres schema primary key | Php_version: PHP 5 Cake_version: 1.2.0.7692 RC3 | --------------------------------------------+------------------------------- Using console script with "schema run create" incorrectly handles primary key and renders this query:
{{{ CREATE TABLE "test" ( "testcase" serial NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY () ); }}} Which causes PostgreSQL to choke on a syntax error. It should create a query similar to this: {{{ CREATE TABLE "test" ( "testcase" serial NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY ); }}} or this: {{{ CREATE TABLE "test" ( "testcase" serial NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY (testcase) ); }}} Attached is generated schema and sql query used to create test case for reproducing the problem. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.cakephp.org/ticket/5867> CakePHP : The Rapid Development Framework for PHP <https://trac.cakephp.org/> Cake is a rapid development framework for PHP which uses commonly known design patterns like ActiveRecord, Association Data Mapping, Front Controller and MVC.
