Comment:

 Could you bin your models?  This problem is difficult to reproduce without
 the model code.  Line 920 simply checks the $this->alias.  Furthermore if
 it works locally and fails remote. I would check your PHP setup config it
 may be a php4/5 issue, ensure that you have var $name defined. But we need
 more information to help you. So help us help you :)
