New description:

 I have the following code in a model:

 {{{
 class Editable extends AppModel {
         var $name = 'Editable';
         var $useTable = null;

 }
 }}}

 Results in Error:

 {{{
 Missing Database Connection
 Error: Confirm you have created the file : app\config\database.php.
 }}}

 Then if you do create the database.php file, you get the error:

 {{{
 mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user
 }}}

Comment (by mark_story):

 Fixed poorly named model.
