Perhaps, i'm wrong but if i'm using the connect method i can't know if the
connection failed due to the missing database or due to the wrong
parameters for the connection to the datasource server.
I need a method to validate the localhost, port, login and password
parameters of the database.php configuration. My method implies only that
a connection to the datasource server exists but doesn't implie any
database created.
