Can you please update the documentation of this function, that the array
syntax is not supported anymore (and maybe some old code could be removed,
that extracts the config array).
It took me hours to find out, that the duration is not set as expected.
(maybe you can trigger an E_NOTICE error, because i think many projects
use the array syntax and get no direct error).
