I am also experiencing issues with saveAll() in v1.2.8004, when there is
only one model being saved. It was invalidated by a required validation
rule in a related hasMany model. Removing that rule, I started to see the
above scalar error.
I am trying to make a deadline now, so I will have to return later with a
proper test case.
