#6110: XCache error when clearing cache ---------------------------+------------------------------------------------ Reporter: oscar | Owner: TommyO Type: Bug | Status: closed Priority: Low | Milestone: 1.2.x.x Component: General | Version: 1.2 Final Severity: Minor | Resolution: fixed Keywords: xcache | Php_version: PHP 5 Cake_version: 1.2.1.8004 | ---------------------------+------------------------------------------------ Comment (by TommyO):
xcache_count() does not require auth, so is not the cause of the error. The error is triggered by xcache_clear_cache() only when xcache.admin.enable_auth is set to 'On' in php.ini and the username/password does not match the configuration. We are looking into a way to strengthen this process now, but an easy fix is to disable xcache.admin.enable_auth, which allows xcache_clear_cache() to be called cleanly. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.cakephp.org/ticket/6110#comment:3> CakePHP : The Rapid Development Framework for PHP <https://trac.cakephp.org/> Cake is a rapid development framework for PHP which uses commonly known design patterns like ActiveRecord, Association Data Mapping, Front Controller and MVC.
