#6157: error method doesn't use tag template from html helper

I believe this is a bug, or atleast two dots that aren't yet connected:
the html helper contains an array of tag templates ($tags). $tags[error]
does exist, but is not used by the error method in form helper as far as i
can see.
the closest line is this (form helper):
#427: $tag = is_string($options['wrap']) ? $options['wrap'] : 'div';
but it looks like options are stripped out in the input method:
#813: $errMsg = $this->error($fieldName, $error);
unless i'm misunderstanding something (very possible), recommend using
'error' as the default tag, instead of a generic div.
in the meantime, is there a clean way to add additional markup to error
divs automatically?
