 Hi Mark, I'm not sure what you mean with your first point. On the second
 point, I don't think the parameters need express clarification anywhere. I
 think you'd only rewrite arguments which have been expressly included when
 the route was defined - the rest would be written to the querystring. That
 seems like a "sane default" decision.[[BR]]

 With the comments in the article, I don't think they are especially
 relevant. Even discounting SEO I think the other points (hierarchical vs.
 non-hierarchical) are pretty weighty.

 With the canonical link, that's a very useful tip and would be handy to
 have in the  HTML Helper, e.g. $html->canonical() (like django's
 get_absolute_url()).

 All this said, the changes need to be weighed against the potential
 benefits; "correctness" vs potentially breaking existing URL schemes is
 not a strong argument, I agree. I think there's enough justification, but
 it needs to be discussed carefully.
