#6233: Form helper: $form->file('Model.fieldname') formats value attribute of
input tag incorrectly
------------------------------------------+---------------------------------
Reporter: skylersully | Type: Bug
Status: new | Priority: Low
Milestone: 1.2.x.x | Component: Helpers
Version: 1.2 Final | Severity: Trivial
Keywords: form helper, wrong output | Php_version: PHP 5
Cake_version: 1.2.1.8004 |
------------------------------------------+---------------------------------
When using multiple levels of the $hasOne model relationship on a model,
for example:
var $hasOne = array(
'Metadata' => array(
'className' => 'Metadata',
'dependent' => true,
),
'Thumbnail' => array(
'className' => 'Thumbnail',
'dependent' => true,
)
);
Using $form->file('Thumbnail.file') outputs the XHTML like so:
<input type="file" name="data[Thumbnail][Thumbnail][thumbnail]" value=""
id="ThumbnailThumbnailThumbnail" />
