#6269: Field labels and titles defined in the model

        Type: RFC | Status: new
    Priority: Medium | Milestone: 1.2.x.x
Component: Model | Version: 1.2 Final
    Severity: Normal | Resolution:

Comment (by jaime):

 (1) Cannot see why the '''display name''' (label) of a column in the
database and it's ''' description''' (title) is view logic and validation
error messages (which are defined in the model) are not. (2) i18n would
still be possible as in http://book.cakephp.org/view/133/Multiple-Rules-
per-Field (bottom part). (3) Elements wouldn't help. This is not about
duplicate logic, but about reducing verbosity in $form->input().
