The $time->timeAgoInWords() is working correctly, its just that the
times are never plural, only singular.
Line 176 in i18n.php should be changed to:
if (($plurals) && ($trans =
$_this->__domains[$_this->category][$_this->__lang][$domain][$plural]) ||
($trans =
$_this->__domains[$_this->category][$_this->__lang][$domain][$singular]))
{
