#6401: Session path incorrectly set on IIS w PHP5-CGI -------------------------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: pbowyer | Type: Bug Status: new | Priority: Medium Milestone: 1.2.x.x | Component: Session Version: 1.2 Final | Severity: Normal Keywords: session, iis, cookie, path | Php_version: PHP 5 Cake_version: | -------------------------------------------+-------------------------------- On IIS with PHP 5 running via FastCGI on Windows Server 2008 we couldn't get sessions to work, because the cookie path was set to /index.php. I tracked this back to 'base' being set incorrectly, but couldn't determine where it is being set.
Thus instead of modifying base, I created the attached patch, which fixes the issue. It's one character different from a work-around already in place. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.cakephp.org/ticket/6401> CakePHP : The Rapid Development Framework for PHP <https://trac.cakephp.org/> Cake is a rapid development framework for PHP which uses commonly known design patterns like ActiveRecord, Association Data Mapping, Front Controller and MVC.
