#5145: Cake should have a alphanumeric+whitespace validation rule ----------------------------+----------------------------------------------- Reporter: mryellow | Owner: Type: Enhancement | Status: closed Priority: Low | Milestone: 1.2.x.x Component: Validation | Version: RC3 Severity: Normal | Resolution: wontfix Keywords: | Php_version: n/a Cake_version: | ----------------------------+----------------------------------------------- Comment (by mryellow):
Forget it man..... Just do like me and give up on the cake dev team.... write your own patches for anything that doesn't work and never send them the code. This is a perfect example of how simple logical stuff turns into a litany of excuses so as to avoid 5 mins work. Bit late for this one now that they're in RC but the confusion with the standard rule was brought up by plenty of users when still in beta. It doesn't too much effort to see that there is something missing here. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.cakephp.org/ticket/5145#comment:16> CakePHP : The Rapid Development Framework for PHP <https://trac.cakephp.org/> Cake is a rapid development framework for PHP which uses commonly known design patterns like ActiveRecord, Association Data Mapping, Front Controller and MVC. Our primary goal is to provide a structured framework that enables PHP users at all levels to rapidly develop robust web applications, without any loss to flexibility. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "tickets cakephp" group.
