I got a bit further reading through Containable and think I figured out
why adding group by support migh not be as simple as letting the 'group'
option through... Containable does not use find() operations (as stated in
the manual). It re-writes the associations and then lets the Model take
care of the rest. So what is needed is to re-write parts of the
association-handling so that they can notice a group key in their
definition.[[BR]]

So, maybe this ticket should be re-named and linked to the model not
primarily Containable.
