#6436: Controller internal methods prevent naming actions with same names --------------------------+------------------------------------------------- Reporter: alanic | Type: Enhancement Status: new | Priority: Medium Milestone: 1.3.x.x | Component: Controller Version: 1.2 Final | Severity: Normal Keywords: | Php_version: n/a Cake_version: | --------------------------+------------------------------------------------- The base controller class has methods like validate(). This prevents having actions with the same name (eg. users/validate). The internal methods should really be named starting with underscores, or there should be a way to say something like addActionHandler($action_name, $method_name).
