 When putting the uk pound symbol (£) into a view it is not correctly
 displayed.

 Example:

 /views/whatever/index.ctp
 {{{
 Character:
 £

 HTML entity:
 &pound
 }}}

 The above code will out put a <?> for both '£' and &pound.
