First I would like to say that PHP5.3 is faster than PHP5.2 for cakePHP
But I don not recommend to use it on remote web servers yet because of two
things
1) none of the web hosts implemented it yet
2) it is not final stable yet
I am testing its performance on my localhost web server.
So,
I tried the following
I backed up my project on localhost
I replaced all the
"& new " with "/*&*/ new "
