#646: It cannot boot ( Debian SID , kernel 2.6.16, no initrd )

When it tries to boot:
system/mountroot/rootrw start:
/dev/hda6 on / type xfs (rw)
bash_helper[system/mountroot/rootrw]: line 2: /dev/null: Read-only file
system
Root filesystem could not be mounted read/write :(
It is a thinkpad X31.
I am using LVM on /var and /home partitions.
Please ask any information you would need.
