#650: running initng --> update --> can't shutdown

After updating initng with the svn ebuilds, I can't stop my laptop. It
always ends in a segfault / initng-segfault is started, but doesn't help
This behaviour occurs only if I:
1) boot with initng
2) update initng
3) shutdown
If I don't update, everything is fine.
