The new fmon plugin is a gods send, I always forgot to call ngc -R ;-)
Just one simple annoyance: If I view a i-file with vi, it creates a
temporary file, e.g for /etc/initng/system.virtual it is
/etc/initng/.system.virtual.swp. This new file causes initng to flush it's
cache which is suboptimal. The fmon plugin should ignore certain types of
 files, e.g.
files starting with a leading ".", or tmp files like "bla~", "bla.bak"
