(In [2206]) Cleaned up database session storages; fixed read/write
behavior for all storages; improved escaping for mysql and postgresql;
added customized date formats to creole storage; fixed incorrect garbage
collection enforcing of creole and PDO; fixed non-integer date() results
for all storages. Closes #635, #636, #637, #638 and #639
