Very helpful all. I'll experiment with this further very shortly but can I just check; should I be able to open AsciiMath-2.4.1.en.html and see HTMLArea in action? When I try to open it Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox show a blank screen.
I've unzipped everything, preserving folder structures, and just attempted to open this file as it appeared there alongside ther HTMLArea folder.
