Hi Iain and Morris 1. The TW version is right there in Acknowledgements & License, so it's not far away. My goal was to reduce as much clutter as possible from the main menu.
2. As for color schemes, I am still fond of my NBN colors, and not nearly as fond of FiddlyWiki's and TW Notes' gradients, etc, though those are nice looking too. Since NBN is free to use as you wish, just adjust the StyleSheet and color palette to your liking. I assumed not everyone would like my style, that's why I put a tiddler mentioning the option of advanced customization. 3. As for Morris' adaptation, his topmenu font-size is too small for my tastes, but I like how he has added the history macro to the tiddlers. I may end up doing that myself someday.
