Options that make it slightly more read-only with out having the above options: * Delete <<option txtUserName>> from the OptionsPanel and GettingStarted. * Remove editTiddler from the toolbar in ViewTemplate. * Tag the zzTweak tiddler with excludeLists & excludeSearch. Also put custom css code in that tiddler so that the font is 0.01em and the same color as the tiddler background (If you can't see it you can't read it) * Use a different TW to make edits in, and then import the updates using the backstage. You will only get the backstage if you are user "adminname" on the TW you made the edits on (they share the same cookie).
This is still not safe as anyone could save the file locally, view the sorce code and then undo all the above... but at that point you are not dealing with making it read only.
