Hi all, I'm using the DiscussionPlugin a lot lately, and it would be most helpful to know when the discussion has been modified since I've last viewed them.
Currently you have to manually check a page's Discussion tab to see if there are any new comments. I'd like some indicator (a "*" or maybe "- total (new)") on the tab title to tell me what's changed since I last viewed the discussion for that page. I've looked at the source to see if I could get tackle this myself, but most of the code in TW is "pregnant with meaning" if you know what I mean. There's a line in the DiscussionViewTemplate (line 4779 in my TW): <div class='viewer' macro='tabs txtDiscussionTab Page Page CurrentTiddler Discussion Discussion DiscussionTiddler'></ div> that looks promising, but I'm not sure how you would call a macro from there to dynamically calculate last viewed and modify the tab.. I don't want to turn TW into Facebook, but this enhancement would really improve TWs collaborative potential.
