Hi Tia, You are right, for EasyFormat you also need to install E.A.S.E and tag those both tiddlers with 'systemConfig'.
Next you also need to adjust your EditTemplate, which you find under the right hand side bar tabs > more > shadowed. Which itself can be done in different ways, depending where you would want the formatting command appear, by adding the following piece of code: <span macro='toolbar format slice'></span> Take a look at the original plugins side for an example how this could be done.
