All, I recently released the Tiddly Wiki Address Book (twab) version 2.2. This version includes a couple of improvements to the import functionality that I've been asked for over the years, namely:
- automatic handling of contacts with same name on import. So if you know 2 John Smiths you'll get "John Smith" and "John Smith (2)" instead of the 2nd one clobbering the 1st one - It will recognize the condition where there's no first and last name and use company name as the contact's name. So if you have a contact called "Dell" with no first/last name it will import it as such. There are a couple of smaller developments as well. The next major feature release will likely include support for vCard, so stay tuned for that.
