However, I have found several specific situations in which it is quite
convenient to use this technique.  Obviously, there is some risk that
a future release may "invalidate" what I am doing, simply because it
works at this time.  That being the case, is there anything special I
should do to "mitigate" such a risk?  Is there any value to providing
a bit more insight into what I am doing, if only to suggest that
future developments may want to avoid adding additional "casual"
restrictions?
