Whether you import your tiddlers from another TW to NBN or use the Tagtreeplugin that Eric mentioned, you are no doubt going to need to do some re-tagging so that your tiddlers line up in the new menu. Tagtreeplugin looks nice and has the advantage that you already have your TW the way you like it and don't need to export to another TW. NBN's advantage is that the slider menu is already in place. Tagging involved, but no plugin installation needed.
Importing should work okay. Just make sure to import the plugins that NBN doesn't have, and *don't* overwrite tiddlers like Stylesheet, viewtemplate, pagetemplate, etc. You can import your calendarplugin from your TW to NBN and place the macro in the mainmenu tiddler wherever you like it.
