Hi there,

I really like TiddlyWiki and I'm planning to migrate from Zim:
http://zim-wiki.org/

I've managed to do virtually everything I need and I'd like to know if
there is a set of macros/plugins that allow me to do what I can do
with the Todo plugin in Zim (and more). In brief, every page you write
in Zim can include items like:

        TODO: call John

There can be multiple TODO instances in each page and they can be
liberally interspersed with the other content. The Zim Todo plug
allows you to see all of these lines in one page, by dynamically
building it each time the plugin is invoked. By carefully construction
"TODO:" lines, you can also include things like priorities and
deadlines.

Is there a way in TiddlyWiki to:

* tag a "tiddler portion" (for lacking of a better name) with one or
more tags, the slice syntax would be good for many purposes and could
be a good example of how to do it
* specify in a search result that "tiddler portions" should be matched/
returned
* transclude only a "tiddler portion", not the whole tiddler (like a
slice)

I played a bit with slices, DataTiddlerPlugin, PartIddlerPlugin,
ForEachTiddlerPlugin but I haven't been able to achieve it.

I could obviously avoid "microcontent" altogether and place it in
individual tiddlers, individually tagged, linked in the main tiddler
but this needs to be straightforward to do when creating a new tiddler
(e.g. a journal entry, taking meeting notes in real time, etc.)
otherwise it won't be really usable.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

ezio
