Most browsers have some kind of native 'search the current page'
functionality (generally accessible via ctrl-F), so you could probably
get by with just that.

Nonetheless, your idea is useful... and was also relatively easy to
add as a new option in TiddlyTools' SearchOptionsPlugin.
