It turns out that updating the script to invoke a delayed window.scrollTo() call was easier than writing a variation of the displayTiddlers() processing. Although there is still a bit of scrolling that can occur while the tiddlers are being rendered, after they are all displayed the script now automatically scrolls to the top of the first newly opened tiddler.
