As you've noted, ListboxPlugin's <<select>> macro currently allows selecting and setting a value into a tiddler *field*, but does not permit a similar selection to be applied to a set of tiddler *tags*. The good news is that I've been planning for quite a while to add handling so the listbox for can be used to select and set a particular tag from a specified set of tiddler tags.
