There is an open TW ticket (http://trac.tiddlywiki.org/ticket/784), but no decision has been reached as of yet. Obviously, this feature *can* be implemented as a plugin, so it's not absolutely required that it be added directly to the core. However, it's not as clear whether or not this feature is *always* needed for every TW document, or is it something that can be installed only as necessary in specific documents? While I'd like to see *something* done in the core, I am just as comfortable having it remain as an optionally-installed plugin.
