I've written here about my problems trying to use "save as" [SaveAsPlugin] to save copies of TiddlyWikis to my backup folder -- using Firefox on OS X, that is. Recently I encountered what seems to be another version of the problem. Fiddling around with TWN-T, I noticed that the QuickEdit toolbar has a button for installing image calls in a tiddler, and decided to give a try on some photos of my daughter and her goofy gang of girls that I'd brought back from a recent visit. However, when I browsed to the folder and clicked on the first image file, I got a message that looked very much like the message I get when I try to do "save as."
I'm not asking for help with this. I'm just curious: Is there anyone else out there who uses TiddlyWiki with Firefox on OS X? Something else that's just occurred to me: Firefox on OS X doesn't give me the security warning when I go to write a copy of a TiddlyWiki to a file it always does on Windows. A couple more observations. Copies are written to the backup folder without any problem if I have "SaveBackups" checked under options or if I do a backup via the DoBackupMacro.
