I'm posting this for a friend...

The relational nature of the twin-drop colour formatter is brilliant
and...
the range of colours is a little overwhelming.

Does anyone know how to simplify QuickEdit_color so it doesn't use the
var hex-loop-build but will build from a specified list. In reality I
only use maybe six colors and would prefer not to have to remember
their values.

I could workaround by rewriting copies of say QuickEdit_format with
separate toolbuttons, one for text-color and one for background but, I
imagine (for someone who has better code than me) that tweaking
QuickEdit_color is not *that* difficult.

many thanks
AK
