Just like any other regular HTML page, each complete TiddlyWiki
document is stored as a single plain-text file... and, because of the
way TiddlyWiki works, all the needed HTML, CSS, and Javascript is
contained in that one file. If you can upload a regular HTML page
(plus associated gif, jpg, or png image files, if any), then you can
upload a TiddlyWiki.

However, although you can edit tiddlers when viewing a hosted
TiddlyWiki document online, you can't actually *save* those tiddlers
unless you have installed a TiddlyWiki plugin that will submit the
changed file back to the server, along with some server-side software
that can automatically 'catch' and store the updated file online. Of
course, just like other HTML pages, you can always edit the TiddlyWiki
document *locally* and then upload that updated file to the host
server in the usual way.

Fortunately, there's a FREE TiddlyWiki hosting service that has
already pre-installed the needed bits and pieces so that you can edit
your TiddlyWiki document *online*:

> Is there a way to password protect access to TiddlyWiki?

Similar to the above answer: if you can password-protect a page on the
web server, then you can password-protect a TiddlyWiki in the same
manner.
