I have a confession to make. When you told me what your setup was, and I went to check mine, I couldn't find the YourSearch Plugin. So, I installed it, then did a search, and I swear I encountered the problem. This morning, after checking out your test case, I did a search on my setup again, and there was no problem. Search results displayed and open tiddlers remained open. So I disabled YourSearch and did another search, using TW's default search function. The problem reappeared. This TW is the only one on which I have default tiddlers open at all times. I *thought* I had YourSearch on all my TWs. It seems I had it on every TW but this one, but since I don't have default tiddlers on the other TWs there was never an occasion for me to notice that the problem didn't exist on the other TWs. I'm glad to find the problem was *me*, that there is no conflict between YourSearch and TiddlersBar. It does seem, at least on this one TW, that there is a conflict between TWs default search function and TiddlersBar. I'll check that out on my other TWs and report back. Meantime I apologize for taking up yours and others' time with *my* problem.
