Thanks for the Link Eric, However on my reading it really only allows me to change one tag to another.
My requirement is a bit more detailed than that, I have written a specification in my original post to assist in the clarity and to ensure I was asking for something which will work in broad range of situations, and solve many problems at once. The Specific case that brought me to post ,was a case where when I tag some thing as a communication, I then tag it as "Place" a communication, then when I do communicate I tag it as "Pinged" and when the person reply's I tag it as "Ponged". If it no longer needs to be a communication tiddler I then want a button that removes communications, Place, Pinged and Ponged tags. All this while leaving other tags in place. In short I think a general tool would work better. I really want to leave the power user ranks and join the developer ranks, so I am Planning to post soon to the dev forum requesting advice on what I should learn. Until then however I need to beg, boirrow and steal. Thanks for you help anyway.
