What I am doing

I just wanted to advise I have started to build a TiddlyWiki training
course to be presented by a trainer to participants.

I plan to do this to exercise my Analytical, training and tiddlywiki
skills as well as Evangelise tiddlywiki.

The Idea is to give them a sound introduction to tiddlywiki as a tool
to use, and extend, to meet real needs and everyday challenges. I Hope
to transfer Analytical skills to the participants.

Rational

I realised that I have told a number of people they can address some
of there day to day requirements with even a plain tiddlywiki. I then
inadvisedly suggest I will build them a tiddlywiki to meet there
requirements, but even extracting requirements can be like pulling
teeth, and I can see myself wasting many hours developing tiddlyWikis
for single use cases.

So I realised, if I empower them, as well as transfer my enthusiasm,
they will teach themselves everything they need.

Perhaps later I can empower others through paid for training.

Scope

I plan to introduce them to the concepts in a basic tiddlywiki and
open their mind to how they can use it. I will include discussions of
portability.
Real world examples will be good here.

I will then present a small set of canned tiddlywiki's that exists in
the tiddlyverse to show them how sometimes the work has already been
done for them.
I need to determine a top 3 (detailed review) and top 10 pre-made
wikis.

The next step will be to demonstrate plugins including the top 3 (10
listed), upgrading the tiddlywiki, and links to resources. Putting a
tiddlywiki on the Internet via tiddly spot will be another critical
item.

This will not be a self training manual, Resources that can be found
in many other places facilitate this. This is a door into the
tiddlyverse.

Outcomes

Apart from empowering tiddlywiki use in the participants I hope to
infuse the analytical approach often missing in peoples approach to
life and hope to also develop a resource that can be used by other
trainers.

Other notes
Get them to use a tiddlywiki to take notes in the class.
Prepare a "take home" reference wiki.
Walk them through creating a tiddlyspot presence.

Please feel free to contribute to this effort with any views, links or
comments you may have. Try to remember what barriers you faced in your
early days.
